I mostly just recently started this LJ because my username finally became available, and I'm cheap and didn't want to pay for the name change. ;) But, I've been on LJ for about five years now. I've met all sorts through this forum, and if you think you'd like to be one of them, comment and I'll most likely add you.

I'm a tough Alaskan kid who now lives in the south. I love me my warm weather! :) When I travel for work and so I'm hardly ever home, and my sleep/work schedules are always a mess. I love what I do, though, and sometimes I get to do it from home. :) I love to read, take pictures (I always have a camera with me), and go to new and interesting places. I am also a quilter, and love to get sucked into my many projects. I go into any situation thinking that I'm going to love it. When it doesn't work out that way, I still try to see only the positive. I hate to be disappointed. :) I love my friends and my family, and my friends ARE my family. I miss the northern lights and the midnight sun, but I don't miss forty below. I like to bowl and miss getting to bowl in tournaments. I'm a procrastinator. I'm random, and I like to be silly. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but there's a lot more to this list!! :)

Anyway, my journal is mostly friends only, now, but if you want to add me, comment and I'll add you back. I'm open to meeting any and all sorts, really.
